Welcome to the Ludington Pickleball Classic 2025!
Join us September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025, for an exciting weekend of pickleball in beautiful Ludington, Michigan!
Tournament Details:
Dates: September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025
Location: Oriole Field Complex, Ludington, Michigan (Intersection of Tinkham Ave. and Gaylord Ave.)
Format: Round Robin with a minimum of 4 guaranteed matches.
Divisions: Skill/Age grouped doubles.
Partners with differing skill levels play at the higher partner's level.
Age bracket is determined by the youngest partner (Age as of December 31, 2025).
Men's Doubles: Friday, September 5th
Mixed Doubles: Saturday, September 6th
Women's Doubles: Sunday, September 7th
Start Time: All play begins at 9:00 AM.
Check-in: Player registration opens at 7:30 AM and continues throughout the day. Please check in 30-45 minutes before your scheduled play time.
Warm-up: Begins at 8:00 AM.
Announcements: Important updates at 8:50 AM.
Rules: USAPA rules apply (refer to USAPA.org).
Tournament Ball: Franklin X-40 (USAPA approved).
Player Amenities:
Free T-Shirt: Each player receives a unisex, moisture-wicking t-shirt. If you are in Ludington, you may try on the shirts at Gordy's store downtown.
Food: 10 Spot Food Trucks will be on-site with a variety of food options.
Beverages: Ludington Pickleball Club will offer coffee (donations appreciated). Bottled water, food bars, and fruit gummies will be provided for players.
Important Information:
Dogs: Only service dogs with proper documentation are allowed at the Oriole Field Complex. This is a Ludington Area School policy and City Ordinance.
Parking: Parking is available within the Oriole Field Complex and on surrounding streets. Please do not block driveways or park on lawns.
Refunds:
NO REFUNDS will be given for weather related cancellations.
A $10 fee will be subtracted from the registration fee for withdrawals before midnight AUGUST 1, 2025. After midnight AUGUST 1, 2025 a $25 fee will be subtracted from the registration fee for all withdrawals.
No refunds will be given after August 28th for any reason.

This is a Round Robin tournament with at least 4 guaranteed matches. Players will receive a free T-shirt with their registration. The tournament staff reserves the right to alter the below information based on weather or other unforeseen factors.
5 Teams - single round robin, 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2
6-8 Teams - single round robin, 1 to 15, win by 2
9 Teams - single round robin, 1 to 11, win by 2
10+ Teams - Split into pools. Pool play will follow above guidelines.
Top 2 will advance from each pool to play single elimination playoff.
