Holiday Meet Up
On Tuesday, December, 10 at we’re having an informal Holiday Meet Up at Stix. Enjoy caroling with Covenant Christian School Choir from 5:30 - 6:30, then head to the bar to meet up with the pickle ball group around 6:30. Or just meet at the bar at 6:30! There will be other events at STIX associated with this event.
Join your pickleball friends for some holiday cheer, wander through the Christmas trees and sprinkle some voting dollars to support The United Way.
Indoor Play Options for LAP Members
October - May
LAP members will receive an email from Pickleball Den each Sunday at 1 p.m. as a reminder to register for play times for the week. The Indoor Committee requests that you initially limit your sign-ups to only three times during the week. This allows others to sign up for times as well. You can add additional times starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The committee also asks that there be no guest sign-ups, including signing up other members of our club. Please sign up only for yourself. If you have a special circumstance, reach out to the Indoor Committee (Carmen Chapman).

All players must be members of the Ludington Area Pickleball Club.
A non-member or guest may play ONE time in the 1pm-3pm time slot before deciding if they would like to join the club.
Pay the daily rate or buy a Rec Center membership.

Monday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 - 3 p.m.
Tuesday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 - 3 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 - 3 p.m.
Thursday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 - 3 p.m.
Friday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 5- 8 p.m.
Saturday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For those wishing to play before 9 AM at WSCC, No sign-up is required. Recommended to call WSCC to ensure the gym is not occupied. Here are the open hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6 - 9 a.m.
Tuesday, Thursday: 7 - 9 a.m.
Saturday: 8 - 9 a.m.
How to sign up:
Go to pickleballden.com
Sign-up will be available at 1:00 PM on Sunday each week. Sign-up on pickleballden.com is required to play. A player may only sign up for 3 play times that week. After 5pm on Sunday a player may sign up for additional play times.
You may sign up for 1 slot daily. If a player wishes to play more than once a day and there are openings available they may sign up after 5 p.m. the day before.
If you are signed up and cannot play please remove your name ASAP.
Each player must sign up themselves. No multiple signups by one person.
Check-in at the Rec office each day prior to play. Pay the daily rate or buy a Rec Center membership.
Three courts are available. Sixteen players maximum.

St. Johns Church

All players must be members of the Ludington Area Pickleball Club.
The seasonal fee is $20, payable at pickleballden.com. Pay prior to the first time playing.
A non-member or guest may play ONE time before deciding if they would like to join the club.
All 6-8 p.m. groups are required to set tables and chairs up for the next day. Check inside the closet door for instructions.

Monday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 6- 8 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 6- 8 p.m.
Friday: 9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 - 3 p.m., 3 - 5 p.m., 6 - 8 p.m.

Pay St. John's dues ($20) on pickleballden.com prior to the first play.

Minimum of 6 players
$5 per player to cover facility rental
Sign up on the Team Reach calendar and monitor announcements for any changes
To request alternative play times, please contact Julie through the app. The facility accommodates three courts, with Julie providing nets and balls. Please note that a minimum of six players is required for any session to proceed.

LAP volunteers played pickleball in the Freedom Festival Grand Parade!
The Ludington Area Pickleball Club participated for the second consecutive year in the Ludington Area Jaycees Freedom Festival Parade on July 4th. The club members showcased their skills and enthusiasm by playing pickleball down Ludington Avenue. This fun and engaging display aimed to promote the sport of pickleball and encourage community involvement. Way to go!!

LAP provides the pickleballs in the plastic bins by the Oriole Field courts. These are available to use during drop-in and open play!
LAP volunteers provide access to the Oriole Field bathrooms by unlocking and locking them daily! Additionally, LAP contributes to bathroom maintenance for all pickleball players.
The annual $30 Ludington Area Pickleball membership dues include the Pickleball Den fees.
